Striking Belgian Art Deco ceramic vase by Boch Frères Keramis, La Louvière, dating from the first half of the 20th century.
The vase has a beautifully rounded, flattened form with a short neck and is decorated with large stylised flowers and sweeping geometric foliage in shades of ivory, green, blue, brown and deep aubergine.
The richly worked surface, strong graphic composition and harmonious colour palette are characteristic of the celebrated Art Deco production of the Keramis factory.
The underside bears the KERAMIS – MADE IN BELGIUM factory mark together with impressed and hand-applied model/decor numbers.
A highly decorative and authentic example of Belgian Art Deco ceramics, ideal for a sophisticated interior or an established collection of European decorative arts.
